Sr Analyst, Business IT Ent Finance


The responsibilities include requirements definition, business/systems analysis, specifications development, configuration, documentation, process re-engineering, project delivery, and application support (24x7). He/she is accountable to preserve to a maximum, the application package standard guidelines to ensure future supportability by the software manufacturer. Also included is the responsibility to maintain currency with respect to innovation opportunities in the domain. This position is also responsible for enabling project management IT Best Practices through the hands-on deployment of project management disciplines.

  • Performs requirements definition and systems analysis.
  • Develops technical specifications and configuration guidelines
  • Develops and manages project plans in accordance with Software Development Life Cycle.
  • Manages the Change Management and Problem Management practices for the function.
  • Assists in the development of requisite systems plans and technology architectures.
  • Supports the relevant standards and methodologies.
  • Design, Configure, test and implement solutions related to the following Finance and Controlling SAP Modules:
    • General Ledger (FI-GL)
    • Bank Accounting (FI-BA)
    • Asset Accounting (FI-AA)
    • Accounts Receivable (FI-AR)
    • Accounts Payable (FI-AP)
    • Finance Supply Chain Management
      • Collections Management (FSCM-CM)
      • Disputes Management (FSCM-DM)
    • Vendor Invoice Management (VIM)
    • Cost Element Accounting (CO-CEA)
    • Cost Center Accounting (CO-CCA)
    • Internal Orders Accounting (CO-IO)
    • Product Cost Controlling (CO-PC)
    • Profitability Analysis (CO-PA)
    • Profit Center Accounting (CO-PC)
  • Ensures configuration and development of the above modules is realized within the manufacturer guidelines to ensure supportability of the product.
  • Ensure the usage of IT Best Practices.
  • Develops and maintains appropriate documentation.
  • Maintains state of the art knowledge and skills in the assigned domain and researches and evaluates new-age systems solutions.
  • Effective user liaison and systems plans.
  • On-time and on-budget project delivery performance.
  • Elevation of IT best practices and capabilities.
  • Deployment of project management standards and methodologies.
  • Selection and management of 3rd party service providers for localized applications.
  • Sustained support of the function by the business team.
  • Delivery of agreed Service Levels and performance metrics.
  • Knowledge and leverage of relevant future directions.
  • Enforcement of standards and policies.


  • Four-year college degree in Computer Science, Business or related fields. Experience and/or other SAP experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • 10+ years of SAP Finance and Controlling experience.
  • ABAP knowledge.
  • General knowledge on other logistics modules, such as SD, PP & MM and their integration with FICO.
  • Extensive experience in global consumer goods organizations.
  • Excellent communications (written and oral) and be able to work with the end user to support them in the use of the system and any enhancements.
  • Ability to operate in a matrixed, global environment.
  • A high sense of the importance of business urgencies.
  • Solid quantitative and analytical skills and good business judgment.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
