MRO Supply Room Technician (2nd Shift)

BASIC FUNCTION

  • Issue parts & supplies to Maintenance/Production associates while maintaining accurate records/inventories.

MAJOR DUTIES

  • Available to work 2nd shift 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM
  • Facilitate company strategies for MRO management.
  • Perform physical inventory of parts & supplies.
  • Conduct daily, weekly and monthly cycle counts.
  • Issue parts & supplies to Maintenance and production personnel.
  • Conduct entry in Computerized Maintenance Management System of stock disbursements.
  • Conduct dispatching of repair & returns.
  • Conduct restocking of bins for goods receipts (parts & supplies).
  • Conduct retrieval & disbursements of goods issue tickets from supply room.
  • Assist other clerks in identifying, locating and issuing parts and supplies
  • Provide vacation and absence coverage for Supply Room Attendants.
  • Comply with all Revlon policies, procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Maintain positive rapport with customers, suppliers, contractors and other associates.
  • Participate on assigned teams. Support team decisions.
  • Perform assigned area housekeeping duties.
  • Perform all work in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Obtain RMA numbers from suppliers as needed.
  • Prepare items for shipment and or communicate with suppliers as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Supply Room Management.
  • Document all stock-outs and last issues.
  • Actively participate in team goal setting/implementation to insure that we are the low cost, high quality producer.
  • Strive to maximize the efficiency of the plant/department by submitting, & implementing process improvements.
  • Insure the quality of our products and our workplace by following all procedures and guidelines.
  • Comply with all established GMP's and Housekeeping responsibilities.
  • Assist in the training of new associates.
  • Actively participate in team safety efforts to achieve/exceed plant goals.
  • Involvement & supportive of Revlon teams & processes.
  • Required to perform all duties safely & use discretion to prevent injuries to self and/or others.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of one year related experience
  • Individual needs to have professionalism, leadership, patience, diplomacy, high ethical standards, and a positive, cooperative attitude,
  • Computer keyboarding skills, typing skills and literacy in software applications.
  • Knowledge of mechanical and electrical equipment, components and parts.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
