Maintenance Planner - 1st Shift

Basic Function:
Responsible for providing planning and scheduling of maintenance work activities and resources through coordination with maintenance, planning, and production staff members and related schedules. Efforts will support control and monitoring of preventative maintenance programs, equipment repairs, and replacement, installation, lubrication, labor, and related budgets. Position will also be responsible for development of maintenance equipment, preventative maintenance, and labor reports to track and monitor usage and reliability data. Will act as point of contact with other departments in communication of maintenance work activities and projects and communicate through shift cross meetings daily.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Control and monitoring of Preventive Maintenance Inspection Program to provide early detection of maintenance problems.
2. Administration of a periodic maintenance program embracing the rebuild, overhauls, component replacement, tear-downs, inspections, major lubrication services.
3. The conversion of all maintenance needs into resources and the development of a plan to accomplish these needs through effective scheduling.
4. Coordinate the purchase and availability of materials and labor necessary to complete maintenance job orders by estimating the required materials and labor resources needed for effective scheduling.
5. Monitoring the use of maintenance labor and to ensure maximum planned work and minimum unplanned or emergency work.
6. Assisting other planning and scheduling groups in areas not limited to vacation and sick leave coverage, but also in consulting, labor material and information sharing and personnel training.
7. Responsibility for the upkeep, training, data collection and history update and priority updating of the Computerized Maintenance Management System. Data in the plant including the P.M. and Parts Replacement Schedule.
8. Communicating to other department-related maintenance scheduling and planning issues as necessary including reports and presentations, (e.g., continuously identifying the most critical or costly activity with the greatest impact on equipment efficiencies in a given time).
9. Modifications and updated of SOPs in all areas of maintenance.
10. Maintains daily communication with other planner and shift cross meetings.
11. Apply Continuous Improvement/RCM concepts.
HS diploma or GED, Associate's Degree in Engineering related discipline preferred and 5+ years experience.
Ability to operate computer and prepare reports, analysis, and other documents using Word, Excel, Outlook SAP, PM System Software.
Working knowledge of maintenance systems, procedures, machine centers, parts/inventory systems, production systems/schedules and production planning systems.
Ability to work with other department contacts in a cooperative and effective manner. Excellent verbal, written, and listening skills are essential.
Background in report writing, analysis, and charting is helpful.
Maintenance experience preferred.
Shift Hours: 6:45 AM - 3:15 PM

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
