HRSC Specialist

Basic Function:
Serves as the point of contact for employee related HR issues/benefits and programs as well as partnering with the HR team in a variety of employee career events.
Deliver clear, concise and consistent customer service to active and terminated employees as well as our internal HR team.
Fosters a team environment and a strong service culture that ensure timely and quality driven service to both internal and external customers.
As part of a collaborative HR team, the position provides HR Services for all U.S. employees.
Support the coordination of HR activities, particularly during peak periods, but also when needed to support the strategic priorities of the HR Department and the Company's business strategies. Focus on demonstrating teamwork within and outside the HR Department in handling assigned responsibilities and activities.
Responsible for administering employee Leave of Absence, Return to Work Programs (RTW), Time and Attendance System Administration, and data integrity of the Company's the Human Resource Information System (HRIS).
Major Duties:
Analyze and respond to inquiries from employees as it relates to Company benefits, programs and policies such as on-boarding, leave of absence, disability, health and welfare, tuition reimbursement, 401k, service awards, work/life, etc.
Process and enter data in Human Resource Information System (HRIS) for both life events and career events for employees. Life & Career Events include: New Hires, Rehires, Career Changes (Promotions, Salary/Job Changes, temporary adjustments) Transfers, Reduction in Hours, Status Changes, Time & Attendance, Benefits (Open Enrollment and Life Events), Cobra, Leave of Absence, Terminations, Employment Verification.
Manage the following processes: Employee Leaves of Absence (paid and unpaid), Reasonable Accommodations, Return to Work program for all U.S. based employees with adherence to complex laws and policies.
Provides regular updates to employees, management, HR Generalist and Payroll regarding employee matters such Leave of absences, terminations, light duty, and time and attendance.
Assists with Time and Attendance system administration; analyze timecard and system discrepancies. Provide ad hoc reports and work closely with managers to resolve all issues related to time and attendance.
Adheres to SOX procedures with transactions to maintain compliance.
Prepare samples for quarterly and ongoing Sarbanes Oxley ("SOX") testing procedures and ensure that they are in compliance with SOX.
Analysis and validation of scheduled reports such as terminated employee benefits, I9 compliance, etc. to ensure data integrity.
Provides explanation and clarification for HR policy and programs.
Gathers and brings forth any issues that arise that may be of cause or concern as they relate to employee inquiries.
Data testing as required during upgrades, vendor changes and as other times required.
Maintain and update employee's records and other files mandated by government regulation or Revlon policy.
Provide HR management and others areas with information as it relates to employees.
Conduct New Hire orientation and employee self-service training for all U.S. based employees.
Special Projects as determined by business need.
2-3 years in Human Resources Service Center or Payroll preferred.
Undergraduate degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field preferred.
Problem-solving skill and analytical skills
Working knowledge and understanding of Human Resources and Payroll
Must maintain data integrity and confidentiality
Must be able to work in a Microsoft Windows environment
Must be able to work in a team environment and independently
Working knowledge of HRIS and Time & Attendance systems
Strong interpersonal skills both verbal & written
Must be able to work with senior management
High level of attention to detail & accuracy
Must be willing and able to prioritize and handle multi tasks simultaneously
Working experience entering data in Human Resource Information, Payroll and Time and Attendance Systems.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
