Summary:
Under general supervision, generates and submits, electronic claims utilizing the UB04 and CMS 1500 claim form Performs effective AR collection follow-up practices to 3rd party payers which result in prompt revenue reimbursement Coordinates effectively all 3rd party payer billing compliance strategies Utilizes fully all third party online tools and reimbursement tracking Maintains working knowledge of billing codes, rules and regulations Serves as a resource for Patient Financial Services Department and the GHS organization
Qualifications:
High School graduate or GED required Minimum of two years previous experience in insurance billing Minimum of year experience in submission of electronic claims and correction of errors Computer experience required Ability to communicate well with employees and patients Good organizational skills Ability to respect confidentiality Must attend necessary workshops and seminars Location:
Granville Health System Patient Accounts/Bus.
Office Schedule:
Full Time, 1st, M-F 8-5.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
